#1 Best Budget Hatchet

"Husqvarna

My all around favorite budget hatchet is Husqvarna’s wooden hatchet. It’s not the cheapest hatchet on this page, but it offers the most value for the money. Let me explain…

Husqvarna outsources the head of the axe. While it remains a mystery which company produces the heads, I’m confident it’s one of the top Swedish axe making brands. The head is “hand forged” with a drop-forge by a skilled craftsman.

The handle is made from high-grade American Hickory and it comes with a nice, leather sheath.

It’s difficult to beat the value Husqvarna offers with this hatchet. For this reason, this is my #1 top choice for the best budget hatchet!
